Family jewellery, after wedding band & engagement ring is often the most meaningful item that is worn. Its unique, each family member is represented by their birthstone. Often its treasured & worn for a lifetime. There are various styles of rings, necklaces and bracelets. Some styles can be personalized with names, dates or messages.

That is totally up to you. Its usual that children are on a mother’s ring. Some don’t put the parents, others do. Often relatives that are special are added. Grandchildren are often included, some add their pets too. Family Jewellery represents those that are important in our lives and deserve the recognition.

The order of birthstones is up to you. Some arrange by date of birth, some just on what colours look best together. There is no convention. If you want our consultants to arrange the birthstones based on the colours best appearance of colours just tell us when you order.

These are traditionally rings with three birthstones. The centre gem stone represents the daughter, with a parent on either side. A perfect gift for a daughter. This a very special ring that will be treasured for a lifetime.

These are rings that feature two gem stones. The 2 birthstones represent a couple & their commitment to each other. Perfect for a girlfriend, bestfriend or partner.

Sorry, we do not offer custom made jewellery in silver or gold plated. We believe that family jewellery is special and is jewellery that will be treasured & worn for a lifetime. Silver is soft, tarnishes & quickly wears out. Goldplated is costume jewellery, plating wears off then, the item is just junk. Fine custom made jewellery isnt made of silver or base metal plated.

No problem. Just leave the engraving sections blank when you order & we will not add the personalization.

Each piece is specially made for you, in the style, colour, karat, with the number of birthstones required and in your size. Our items are cast with settings - others use screws to add stones - we do not. We make fine custom made jewellery, that takes time to make properly.

We make family jewellery in real karat gold. Legally stamped & trademarked as per Canadian Law. 10Kt is our minimum standard. Upgrading to 14Kt or 18Kt adds more fine gold, hence is more expensive. However whether 10, 14 or 18kt the appearance doesnt change, nor does the wearability or durability. Family jewellery is very special and many like to have a higher karat of gold to make it even more special.

Yes. Families increase. Birthstones & engraving can be added, up to the maximum the style allows. Usually the piece will have to be remade. We’ll remake your jewellery with the addition, at a charge of $175. If you expect a new family member soon - order the style with the extra stone & just fill the slot with an imitation diamond. Then we only need to replace the birthstone at a nominal cost.

Yes the rings are gold and can be sized by any jeweller. We would be happy to do this for you at our normal sizing charge.

We only use real natural gemstones. Real gems are more special than synthetics or coloured glass. Best look in a jewellers showcase to be familiar with the colours of natural gems stones. For example an imitation emerald will be a very dark green coloured glass. Real emeralds arent that colour. Please don’t compare the colour of natural gems with coloured glass.

The designs and equipment allows for only the 8 characters. Only letters, numbers & dashes are available. We cant apply symbols or designs in the engraving sections.

For sure. Use your imagination and design your own wedding band. Remember that the gems you add do not have to be birthstones. These days custom made jewellery in gold & real gems costs in the range of $1000+. Using our models you can design & craft your own ring for a lot less. Many styles make excellent weding bands, dress rings, fashion rings, right hand rings, cocktail rings.... use your imagination - get something unique, just design it!
